However, after noticing my SO could play GP games on their brand new account just because mine had access to GP, I'm left wondering if there's anything at all stopping me from just making a brand new account every month and signing up for GP for 1€ and then canceling it and making another brand new account the next month. However, since pricing for Game Pass isn't adjusted to earnings here in the € zone (one standardized price for all € countries despite vastly different earnings across the region), I wasn't intending on subscribing regardless as for the use I want out of it it's just too expensive relative to my earning potential. These last 3 days since I bought my Series X I've found myself buying games I probably wouldn't have given the time of day to after trying them on Game Pass (like Power Rangers: Battle for the grid or Spiritfarer) so it's not entirely without value to me. However, I can't deny the service has some value to me on the "try before you buy" side of things.
I also don't really care about playing online as I long since transitioned to PC in such regards to avoid such costs. GP is fun but I don't have much interest in it since most of the stuff on there that I want I already have and I have a personal interest in traditionally acquiring and owning the games I like.
